Director

Olivier Zuchuat was born in 1969 in Geneva (Switzerland). After studying Theoretical Physics and Literature, he became a teaching assistant at the Université de Lausanne (Switzerland). He directed several theatrical productions of works by Bertolt Brecht and Heiner Müller and also worked as assistant for the German theatre director Matthias Langhoff (Théatre de Nanterre-Amandiers).

Since 2000, he dedicates himself exclusively to cinema.

From 2006 to 2010, he teaches film at the Université Paris-Est Marne la Vallée. Since 2010, he teaches at the Paris National School of Cinema LA FEMIS.

He also works as an editor on feature documentaries (mainly for ARTE) but also on fiction films and video installations.
